Let’s Get Started
Therapy is a place to slow down, get curious, and make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface.
Dr. Nyasha works with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, stress, family conflict, identity, and the effects of racism and marginalization.
Whether you’re new to therapy or looking for something different, you don’t need to have it all figured out before you begin. We’ll start where you are and work together from there.
What to expect
Starting therapy can feel intimidating. Your first sessions are an opportunity to talk about your background, what brought you in, what you’d like to change, and what you need from your therapist.
Dr. Nyasha’s approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive, drawing from CBT and other evidence-based practices. Finding the right fit matters, so she offers a complimentary 15-minute consultation to connect and answer any initial questions.
